THE SHORT VERSION
PRIVACY
We don't collect your data: the website doesn't track you, and the game keeps everything on the streamer's own PC.
The website
- No accounts, no cookies
- The website has no sign-in and sets no cookies. There are no ads, no analytics scripts and no tracking pixels.
- Hosting
- The site runs on Cloudflare, which handles every request (and, like any host, sees your IP address to answer it). The fonts come from Google Fonts.
- Downloads
- DOWNLOAD hands you the installer from the game's public GitHub releases, after checking its build. Nothing about you is stored to do that.
The game
- Runs on your PC
- The game, its settings, leaderboards and logs live on the streamer's own computer. There is no Subspace Brawl account to sign up for.
- Twitch & YouTube
- Connecting stores the connection (a refresh token) on your PC, used only to read chat, cheers and redeems and to show viewers' names, avatars and emotes. You can revoke it any time in your Twitch or Google account settings.
- Viewers
- A viewer who types !join shows up with their chat name and color on that stream. Points and name colors are saved in that streamer's game, on their PC.
